Sheeter Support
Get help with Sheeter app issues, feedback, diagnostics, and feature requests.
What this page is for
This page is the support page for Sheeter, the local-first desktop cheatsheet app. Use it when you need help with app issues, want to report a bug, have general feedback, or want to request a feature.
For product context, see the Sheeter project page. For data handling details, see the Sheeter privacy policy.
Contact support
For Sheeter support, use the Agensae contact page and mention "Sheeter support" in your message so the request is routed with the right context.
You can also email contact@agensae.com for Sheeter app issues, bug reports, feedback, and feature requests.
What to include
When you contact support, include the details that help reproduce the issue:
- Your macOS version.
- Your Sheeter version.
- What you were doing when the issue happened.
- What you expected to happen and what actually happened.
- Screenshots if they help explain the app state or error.
- A support bundle or copied error report only if you choose to share it. Review any exported diagnostics before sending them.
Privacy and diagnostics
Sheeter does not include analytics, telemetry, behavioral tracking, or background diagnostic uploads. The app does not send support information automatically.
Diagnostics are exported or copied manually. Support bundles are written to a file you choose, and fatal-error reports are copied only when you choose to copy them. Review support bundles and copied reports before sharing them with support.
See the Sheeter privacy policy for more detail about local app data, support bundles, copied error reports, and what Sheeter does not send automatically.
Common help topics
- Local-first files and workspace folders: Sheeter works with local cheatsheet files, app settings, registries, and workspace folders on your device.
- File permissions and security-scoped access: if macOS asks you to choose a file or folder, Sheeter uses that choice to access the selected local content. If access is lost after moving, renaming, or deleting a file or folder, reselect it in the app.
- Importing kits or registering cheatsheets: send the exact error message, the kit or sheet structure you were trying to register, and whether the files live inside your workspace folder or elsewhere.
- Search, copy, favorites, and recents: include the sheet name, search query, entry title, and any steps that reliably reproduce incorrect results.
- Bug reports and feature requests: describe the workflow, the result you expected, and how the change would help you use Sheeter.
Response expectations
Support messages are reviewed as available. We may ask for additional reproduction steps, screenshots, or diagnostics that you choose to export or copy. No hard response time is promised on this page.
