Rapidon is a mobile app for small charities and thrift stores to manage in-kind donations — entirely offline, from donor intake to compliant tax receipts.
From the drop-off, not the back office.
Abstract
Charities that accept in-kind donations spend hours every week transcribing receipts, estimating values, and chasing signatures.
Rapidon replaces the clipboard and the spreadsheet with a single mobile workflow — designed for busy drop-offs and audit-ready records from the first donation.
What it does
- Donor registration with history and address details
- Item cataloguing by category and condition
- Photo evidence captured at the point of intake
- Numbered tax receipts ready to share or print
Works where the Wi-Fi doesn't.
Abstract
Drop-off points are loading docks, church basements, thrift-shop entrances — places where connectivity is patchy at best.
Rapidon runs entirely on-device. Sensitive donor data stays local, and you skip the recurring SaaS bill that rules out a lot of small charities.
What this means
- Take donations whether you're online or not
- Donor data stays on the device that captured it
- No cloud account, no per-seat pricing
- Sync over Wi-Fi later when it's convenient
Locked, numbered, defensible.
Abstract
A donation receipt is a tax instrument. Once issued, it can't be quietly edited.
Rapidon locks each donation when the receipt is generated. You can export the full ledger for reporting, audits, or year-end accounting in one tap.
What it does
- Lock donations the moment a receipt is issued
- Track advantages when donors get something in return
- Condition-based value assessment with depreciation
- Export ledger for reporting and record-keeping
From Figma to production, in days.
Approach
Design-first workflow with clear boundaries between "what" and "how" — humans authored the PRD, the Figma mockups, and the acceptance tests; agents handled the implementation.
The result was a production-ready baseline reached in a handful of days, with reviewable scoped changes throughout.
What we shipped
- Offline-first donor + donation management with local persistence
- Photo capture workflow with compression and thumbnails
- Tax-compliant PDF receipt generation
- CSV export for reporting and record keeping
- Internationalization (EN/FR) and Canadian address support
